The Under 13 women's team of New Basket ABC Ponente is composed of girls from Alassio, Le Torri, Olimpia and Borghetto. They won the regional title and were selected to participate in Coppa Italia.
The experience in Coppa Italia
The team started the tournament with a loss to Reyer Venezia by 66-59. But they didn't give up and continued to fight. Sunday they beat Geas by 58-56, then they won also against Alpo 99 by 60-36. Wednesday they started the final phases and won against Pol. Comense by 78-49. But in the quarterfinals they didn't have luck and were beaten by Costa Masnaga.
